About us

Eddy is a production company founded by Jean-François Bourrel and Nicolas de Rosanbo. Built upon the former "Chez Eddy" studio and its 13 years experience in design and production, the house develops projects of emerging artists spotted for their strong and unique visual identities. We guide our roster of talents in the writing process of short films and music videos, giving them opportunities to bring their distinctive touch to advertising campaigns. We believe that this approach allows us to produce audacious, accurate and director-driven projects.

Little Lungs

Peter Sluszka - Hornet

Directed by Peter Sluszka and created for the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products' "The Real Cost" campaign by FCB New York, the tobacco-tinged "Little Lungs" appears in a series of digital videos, breaking today, in which his attempts to be cool and join in with normal teen life (and his healthy pink lung friends) are thwarted by his stunted growth, caused by smoking.

The campaign is designed to resonate with a teen audience and target them within digital environments such as YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram. Specifically, the campaign focuses on reaching at-risk teens, who live a more chaotic lifestyle and suffer from lower socioeconomic and educational levels making them more stressed out than their peers.

Amazon Prime Day

Peter Sluszka - Hornet

Leo Burnett and Amazon approached Hornet and director Peter Sluszka to lend his creativity to their vision for Prime Day. July 12th marks Amazon’s 2nd Annual Prime Day, a global, mid-year shopping holiday for its Prime customers to receive online deals. The truly integrated campaign combines broadcast and print advertising along with digital, social media and a site takeover.

Drawing inspiration from the delivery method of Amazon, Peter and his team of artists handcrafted a city made of Amazon’s well-known cardboard boxes. Utilizing in-camera, stop-motion techniques, the spot explores a whimsical yet contemporary metropolis with cardboard as its brick and mortar. The paper craft visuals extend to the cars, landmarks and even the people, all connected by the Amazon pins showing the range of the brand’s services and deals. The end result is a perfect blend of story-telling and artistry, proving that sometimes it's okay to think inside the box.

Parabella's Mikey Please and Dan Ojari created this tasteful story for Twinings Tea, taking viewers on a enchanting adventure from the first refreshing sip of the morning to the final, savory drop.

Inspired by the Golden Era of musicals and multi-plane animation techniques (pioneered by Walt Disney in the 1930s), the spot mixes charming Computer Graphics with a pinch of pointillism and a nod to David Hockney, creating this feel-good world of Twinings in motion.

Parabella shot 3D models on layered planes, creating a captivating sense of depth and perspective. Using 100,000 tea tags and 50 different paper folding styles, the pair also animated the female hero frame by frame, all in-camera.

Stop The Roadkill

Peter Sluszka - Hornet

This furry Thriller directed by Peter Sluszka shows drivers what happens on the other side of the windshield. Collaborating with The Humane Society for Bosch, Hornet and Grey teamed up on this humorous film that advocates safe, conscientious driving via a band of cautionary, zombie animals.

Six puppeteers were recruited to bring five built-to-scale puppets (back to) to life through stylized movement and choreographed dance. Sluszka’s adept storytelling and the wildly creative team from Grey worked together from pitch to post, yielding an admittedly ambitious yet successfully hilarious PSA.

Permanent TSB - Back to basics

Peter Sluszka - Hornet

Peter Sluszka gets back to his stop motion roots in an elaborate build out for Ireland's Permanent TSB Bank and their new campaign. Prim and proper sheep, rabble rousing kids, a friendly butcher, and the rest of Peter's charming village folk bring personality to the first of numerous spots in Permanent TSB's ongoing campaign.
