About us

Eddy is a production company founded by Jean-François Bourrel and Nicolas de Rosanbo. Built upon the former "Chez Eddy" studio and its 13 years experience in design and production, the house develops projects of emerging artists spotted for their strong and unique visual identities. We guide our roster of talents in the writing process of short films and music videos, giving them opportunities to bring their distinctive touch to advertising campaigns. We believe that this approach allows us to produce audacious, accurate and director-driven projects.

Synopsis

24 Hours of Le Mans, 1955. The race is grandiose. 300,000 spectators. Never have the sports cars been so fast, so beautiful. The Mercedes “Silver Arrows” were the betting favourite. It was 6:00 PM when Pierre Levegh’s car ploughed into the sta- dium scattering the engine’s hot debris over 70 metres. It was a tragedy that cost more than 80 lives and has gone on to be the most catastrophic accident in motorsport history. Yet, the race didn’t stop. However, the Mercedes’ team had a co-driver waiting to take Pierre Levegh’s relay. His name was John Fitch...

Synopsis

Manhattan - In the early 1950's, Jack, a passionate art lover visits museums all day long. Consumed by his desire to absorb the inspiration of his favorite artists, he steals their paintings and...eats them ! Finding himself alone in his apartment after having consumed every painting he has stolen he is still famished... so he tries his hand with a brush, paint and canvas... yielding unexpected results ! A joyful tribute to painters and an homage to Jackson Pollok, « Dripped » imagines the nature of the artistic muse in a completely new and unusual way.
