General Elektriks - Amour Uber Ales

Maxime Bruneel

French electro pop artist General Elektriks is releasing his  latest music video for the track « Amour Über Alles », directed by Maxime Bruneel and produced by Eddy.

Loathing and fear in the Western World is the main theme in General Electrik’s track and Maxime brilliantly captures this. He dives into the contrast of west self-centric hedonism and blindness of everything outside the periphery of their personal pleasure. This bubble leaves no place for political consciousness and respect for others plight.

As Animals - Ghost Gunfighters

Maxime Bruneel

The band As Animals (Label Atmosphériques) trusted Maxime Bruneel to direct their music video "Ghost Gunfighter".

It presents ten situations which cross each other, on the urban melancholy theme, real common thread of the film. The facing-camera portraits succeed each other, full of emotion and perfectly illustrate an omnipresent unease...

The spectator discovers violent scenes but never saw the trigger of the fights: he drops in on the heat of the action, so he is caught unprepared and abashed...

Charles X - Wind

Raphaelle Tinland

A false lead at the opening of the film tricks us into a violent drama but as the frame widens, we realize the music video depicts a happenning for Peace; a symbolic performance that will take place in the middle of the streets, involving Charles X and Georgia Ann Muldrow, mobilizing the audience gathered around to make peace and to come together.

Erevan Tusk - By the Larches

Raphaelle Tinland

"One is the Mirror of the other. An old woman returns to the place of her best memory and faces her young alter-ego magnified by 50 years of life."

Raphaëlle Tinland (Parallel), explains us how she sees the clip:

"I have been touched by the theme of old age for a long time and it asked me questions: what look does an old woman have on her youth? On her vanished beauty? Is it possible to die without any regrets? etc... So when I have been asked to illustrate the song "By the larches" by Erevan Tusk, which contains a nostalgic and yet a cheerful theme, I saw an opportunity to deal with subjects that I care about with sobriety.
I believe the greenhouse is a real metaphor of the film's stakes. Bubble in air and time, it protects the expatriated species. From the moment the old woman crosses the threshold, time stops and death is postponed."
