A young mother and her daughter live in an out-of-season seaside resort void of tourists. One lives by night, working in a hotel, and the other by day. They never cross paths and their only link that maintains any sense of common life is a walkietalkie.

When you get home

Ben Brand

In 2016, director Ben Brand red a heartbreaking story through an article about a horrific traffic accident involving a little baby girl. It struck him so deep that he HAD to do something with it. This is the film directly inspired by the event.

So here is the confronting result to create awareness about using the mobile phone in traffic

Before Mars

Lloyd Lee Choi

"Before Mars" complements the highly anticipated National Geographic global event series "Mars" from Academy Award and Emmy winning producers Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg.

“Before Mars” is a heartwarming narrative that explores the themes of self discovery, belonging and family. For those of us who have a wanderer’s soul, our idea of “home” is one that can constantly change. But there is one thing that remains the same, at the end of the day, no matter where our adventures lead us, we can always find our home with the ones we love.

FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH

Ben Brand

FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH AND THROW HER INTO A RIVER is about the young boy Remco (15), who, in a careless act, posts an upsetting video on the internet. The story is inspired by true events. The title of the movie is an exact copy of the title of the video that was posted online by an angry crowd back in 2010, wanting to find and kill the girl. See Article: cbsnews.com/news/girl-throws-puppies-in-river-in-video-4chan-users-on-the-hunt/

Even famous TRANSFORMERS director Michael Bay put $50.000 on the girls head to find her. See article: gawker.com/5628051/transformers-director-michael-bay-offers-50000-bounty-for-puppy-throwing-girl . Besides the coming of age story the film's arena depicts the broad illegal puppy trade which still go's on in western Europe every day.

The film was developed at the international Binger Writerslab.
