About us

Eddy is a production company founded by Jean-François Bourrel and Nicolas de Rosanbo. Built upon the former "Chez Eddy" studio and its 13 years experience in design and production, the house develops projects of emerging artists spotted for their strong and unique visual identities. We guide our roster of talents in the writing process of short films and music videos, giving them opportunities to bring their distinctive touch to advertising campaigns. We believe that this approach allows us to produce audacious, accurate and director-driven projects.

Erevan Tusk - By the Larches

Raphaelle Tinland

"One is the Mirror of the other. An old woman returns to the place of her best memory and faces her young alter-ego magnified by 50 years of life."

Raphaëlle Tinland (Parallel), explains us how she sees the clip:

"I have been touched by the theme of old age for a long time and it asked me questions: what look does an old woman have on her youth? On her vanished beauty? Is it possible to die without any regrets? etc... So when I have been asked to illustrate the song "By the larches" by Erevan Tusk, which contains a nostalgic and yet a cheerful theme, I saw an opportunity to deal with subjects that I care about with sobriety.

The clip was really thought like a narrative short-film, the ambition of the project was to tell a real story, synchronized with music.

I believe the greenhouse is a real metaphor of the film's stakes. Bubble in air and time, it protects the expatriated species. From the moment the old woman crosses the threshold, time stops and death is postponed."

This self-produced film may inspire other projects in which Parallel will be able to develop a narration and will continue developing a real atmosphere...
Parallel, besides their advertising projects, are actually working on a short-film that refers to pretty much the same issues but through a different angle.
